Leadership: It’s Exhausting – How to overcome obstacles and plan for success

Being a leader is exhausting.  It’s a 24/7 job and often thankless.  Good leadership requires both hard and soft skills to be successful and rewarding. We’ll discuss the responsibility of having direct reports as well as being a leader to those around you.

Concepts will include: Planning, communication, coaching, delegating and dealing with chaos – almost sounds like being a parent!  We’ll walk through examples like how to handle last minute curve balls, people not showing up, employees quitting, bosses & customers changing their minds on what they want, people taking credit for other’s work, rude employees in meeting, decision making and more!

And let’s not forget the joy of being a leader – Seeing people succeed, positive reinforcement, growing, maturing and being promoted.  Overall, it will be an interactive conversation!
